Individual Counselling (18+)
Counselling at Clearview Counselling provides you with support in whatever area of life you are struggling in. Our team of compassionate and skilled psychologists can help you with a variety of concerns including: relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression, anger management, and a variety of other concerns. With accessibility in mind, we offer sessions in-person, online, or by phone.
Teen Counselling (ages 13-17)
Counselling for Teens age 13-17 is provided by psychologists with special interest and experience in supporting adolescents. While teen counselling is typically delivered to the teen on their own, parent involvement is an important part of the process. At minimum, we require you and/or your child's other parent to attend the meet and greet and the first formal session (also called the intake session). At the intake session, you, your teen, and the therapist will co-construct a plan for how counselling with your teen will look going forward.
Please note:
1) In most cases, the consent of both parents is required for a child to participate in counselling. This is something you will discuss with the psychologist at the meet and greet session.
2) Clearview Counselling does not provide formal assessments (including psychoeducational, parenting, or custody/access assessments) or participate in court proceedings.
3) In some limited cases, a teen can provide consent for themselves to access counselling. If this is something you would like to explore, please book a meet and greet session to discuss your options with a counsellor.
If you have any questions, please contact us at 403-232-6068.
Children's Counselling (age 12 and under)
Counselling for Children under the age of 12 is offered by psychologists who specialize in treating children and in a space designed just for them! Though children's counselling is designed for children, the first couple of sessions are attended by parents/guardians without their child. Please book a meet and greet first. This will give you a chance to find out about the services offered, what you can expect from children's counselling, and to ensure that it is a fit for what you are looking for. After a meet and greet, the next session will be an intake for you and/or your child's other parent. This is the session where paperwork is completed and you can share what you are concerned about and what your hopes are for your child. During that session, a plan for moving forward with your child will be co-constructed with the psychologist.

Family Counselling
Family counselling allows members of a family to access support together. The structure and focus of family counselling depends on the concerns and dynamics of the family.
